What This Talk is About

In the talk, Giulia will share how she has experienced a “spiritual revolution” in her own life by reading the book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, along with the Bible. The ideas in Science and Health gave her an entirely new perspective on God and life that resulted in deeper meaning and even physical healings, both for herself and others. She is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. In this role, she has addressed medical conferences, university classrooms, as well as general audiences around the world

“My current talk explores the search for meaning and purpose, and how this directly relates to experiencing the magnitude of God as Love. This is the “spiritual revolution” I discuss in my lecture. It’s a rebellion against the limits of what the physical senses can give us, do for us, and tell us about our nature and our life. It’s a quest for spirituality that completely changes one’s perspective about life, and as a result, offers meaning, peace, physical cure & healing, and fulfillment. This is the basis of my spiritual healing practice in helping others. Christian Science can help you too.” – Giulia

A Note from Giulia Nesi Tetreau

A high school experience of volunteering in rural Appalachia gave me meaningful purpose for my life. It touched me so deeply that I knew my career path was going to involve being of service to others. This inspired me to get both an undergraduate and graduate degree in social work.

For many years, I was a licensed psychotherapist in the New York City area, helping people severely troubled by the demands and stress of work and family responsibilities. The practice required keeping up with the latest treatment methods to moderate the anxiety and provide relief. But it was always temporary.

About 10 years into my therapy practice, feeling drained and empty myself, I searched for a treatment method that could be effective for me. This is when I found Christian Science. It presented an entirely different mental treatment approach, one based on an individual’s consciousness so spiritually aware of the love of divine Love that mental stress and anxiousness and confusion disappear. The more I learned and practiced the treatment for myself, the more I knew this approach was the way I wanted to help people. I had proven that the Christian Science healing method was the most effective to be of service to those who need help.

So I became a practitioner of Christian Science, helping people gain freedom – yes freedom! – from all manner of mental health issues. There have also been healings of a variety of physical difficulties without drugs or surgery, relationship issues, and financial and career challenges.

This spiritual approach of Christian Science is based on the inspired ideas of the Bible and described completely in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, authored by Mary Baker Eddy. The spiritual ideas in this healing system can benefit anyone, regardless of their beliefs. Everyone can change their life for the better with Christian Science!
